In years past, most photographers (ourselves included) went with the technology of the time and developed their photographs on Kodak paper. It’s recently been discovered that this paper erodes and causes the photograph to fade much more quickly than it was advertised to. Thanks to new technology, we are able to scan, restore, and re-print your photographs back to their former glory. We now print only on archival paper, with pigmented inks (which means that you’re images will last for 150+ years before fading!).
Depending on the size of the image that requires restoration, we will scan or photograph it so that we have the highest resolution possible to provide to you. We can touch up scratches, rips, fading, and discoloration – bring us your worst!
Prices for restoration vary by damage to the photograph, but most often the price is somewhere around $60. Please bring in your photograph for us to assess so that we can give you an accurate quote.
